Recognizing the growing importance of data-driven decision-making in modern organizations, SZABIST University Islamabad organized an insightful seminar titled “In the Age of AI: Why HR Analytics Matters”  for students of MBA, MS Management Sciences, and PhD programs.

The seminar was organized by Dr. Ayesha Noor and featured Dr. Nadeem Khan, Director EDC at Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), as the distinguished guest speaker. Drawing on more than three decades of experience in academia, corporate leadership, and development consulting, Dr. Khan shared valuable insights into the transformative role of HR Analytics in contemporary organizations.

The session explored key topics including employee turnover analysis, performance measurement, predictive analytics, workforce planning, AI-driven HR practices, and emerging competencies required in data-centric workplaces. Through practical examples and industry case studies, participants learned how organizations utilize analytics to identify high-performing employees, strengthen strategic decision-making, and improve overall organizational effectiveness.

Dr. Khan also highlighted the growing significance of analytical tools, emerging technologies, and research opportunities in the field of HR Analytics, emphasizing their role in shaping the future of human resource management.
