The Youth Empowerment Society (YES) at SZABIST University Islamabad organized an engaging seminar titled “Reimagining Our Future: Climate Action and Environmental Resilience” on 25th October 2025.

The session encouraged students to explore climate change, sustainability, and collective action for a greener, more resilient Pakistan.

YES hosted two distinguished speakers, Mr. Aftab Alam and Mr. Sarmad Iqbal, who shared valuable insights on environmental sustainability and disaster risk reduction. Students from MS Development Studies and BS Social Sciences took part enthusiastically and gained practical knowledge about climate challenges and opportunities for sustainable development.

Special thanks go to Dr. Abdul Razzaq Khan, Faculty Advisor, for leading this impactful initiative. We also appreciate the support of Ms. Sana Mukhtar (Program Manager, Social Sciences).
