The MBA Experiential Learning Activity 2025 at SZABIST Islamabad featured an engaging seminar on “Strategic Marketing for Competitive Advantage.” Organized by Dr. Zoya Wajid Satti, the session aimed to sharpen students’ skills in strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and customer-centric approaches while promoting ethical marketing practices.
The seminar was enriched by the presence of Mr. Usama Yousaf, Senior Manager IO, who brought over 11 years of industry expertise — including five years at MAL Pakistan and six years at PARCO GUNVOR LTD (formerly Total Parco).
Through his real-world insights, Mr. Yousaf illustrated how companies apply strategic marketing frameworks to gain a competitive edge. His engaging discussion not only deepened students’ understanding but also bridged the gap between academic learning and corporate practice.
