Dr. Wajid has a PhD in Mass Communication from Beaconhouse National University. He is currently associated with SZABIST as Head of Department of Media Sciences department since 2011. He has diverse expertise in quality research, Outcome Based Teaching, TV, Short Film Production and Documentary Making.

Introduction

This course has been delineated to make the students comprehend the anatomy of news, reporting process, anchoring and news presentation. These targets will be taught for the print, electronic and digital media. The description may follow: Anchoring, news presentation, Anatomy of news, origins of news, characteristics of news, sources and resources for news gathering and reporting.

The desired outcome is to make the students able and competent to find news, report news, write news, treat news, present news and analyze the news for print, electronic and digital media.
