Dr. Syeda Razia Bukhari has completed PhD in Clinical Psychology Institute of Clinical Psychology, University of Karachi, Pakistan. She is currently an Associate Professor and Student Counselor department of Social Sciences at Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. Her research interests include Mental Health, health psychology, child-clinical psychology and social-emotional development. She to use research to understand and assess psychological and behavioral disorders and problems, and to develop effective treatment methods for alleviating the effects of such disorders and problems in regard to clients and patients.
She is a HEC Approved PhD Supervisor. Currently she is researching the stigma of mental illness and caregiver burden of caregiver of patient suffering with psychiatric disorders. She has published her researches in national and international journals and in national and international conference proceedings, and she has served as reviewer for a number of premier journals such as RMJ, PJMR, PJP & PJCP. Apart from it, she has been facilitating various training programs and workshops at national level. Since starting of her job up till now she has attended many international and national conferences has presented research papers in these conferences and conducted workshop in national conferences and preconference workshops in international conference.
Further, she is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Psychometrist & CBT Specialist, Expert in School, Career, Parental, Marital & Couple Counseling
She has around 10 years clinical experience to apply psychological principles to the assessment and alleviation of psychological, emotional, psycho physiological, psychiatric and behavior disorders in individuals, families, groups and communities. Provide services to clients of all ages to prevent disorder and/or to improve the adaptation, adjustment, personal development and satisfaction of individuals, families or groups.
