Mr. Syed Shahwar Hussain is the Head of Entrepreneurship and Development Center and is also Faculty Marketing at SZABIST, Islamabad. Shahwar holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with majors in Marketing from UWA Business School- University of Western Australia a highly prestigious university in Australia and among the top universities in the world. He is a highly motivated and multilingual business and marketing professional with a successful career developed with multi-national companies from around the world, specialized in Marketing, Brand Management, Media Management, Consumer Behavior, Retail Management, Advertising and Event Management with over 08 years of industry experience and 05 years of teaching experience at Higher Education level. Before pursuing his Masters degree he worked at Managerial level in the field of Advertising and Marketing in different prestigious advertising organizations. His experience spreads over different fields of marketing and organizations both in Pakistan and Australia; having worked with the Retail Industry in Australia as Assistant Manager Sales, he has the capability of handling and understanding consumer behavior from the grass root level to the corporate level. Before joining SZABIST in (2016), he was Director Marketing and Business Development at Essential Concepts (pvt) Ltd (2014-2016), an Event Management, Advertising & Public Relations’ Company. He was also associated with FAST Business School Islamabad as Assistant Professor (VF) for a period of 02 years. He is currently teaching Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Media Management and Strategic Marketing courses to MBA and BBA students. A man of optimistic approach with humbleness, good sense of humor, having qualities of leadership, problem solving, and creativity.
