• My research interests lie within the broad fields of empirical finance, financial economics, corporate finance, sustainable finance, and applied economics. Specifically, I am interested in examining how corporate financial characteristics, governance mechanisms, sustainability practices, and macroeconomic conditions influence firm performance, financial resilience, investment decisions, and broader economic stability. My interest in these areas has been shaped by both my professional and academic experiences. Having worked extensively in financial data research and business analytics, I have developed a strong appreciation for evidence-based decision-making and the practical implications of financial and economic policies. This professional background has complemented my academic pursuit of empirical research and has enabled me to approach research questions from both theoretical and practitioner perspectives. Over the years, my research has evolved from relatively focused firm-level studies to broader investigations encompassing corporate sustainability, financial performance, investment behaviour, and macroeconomic outcomes. This progression has resulted in several peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations, reflecting my commitment to producing rigorous and policy-relevant research. A distinctive contribution I bring to research is the combination of substantial corporate experience with academic inquiry. My background as a Senior Data Researcher and Business Analyst has provided me with extensive exposure to large-scale financial databases, corporate reporting systems, and analytical methodologies. In addition, my proficiency in quantitative research techniques and analytical tools such as Stata, Tableau, and econometric modelling enables me to undertake complex empirical investigations and generate insights that are both academically robust and practically relevant. I aim to leverage these strengths to contribute to high-quality research in finance and economics, particularly in areas that inform corporate decision-making and public policy.
