Dr. Muhammad Shafiq, with 15 years of industry and academia experience, has completed his PhD Technology Management and Business from Universti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor Management Sciences in ‘Shaheeed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology‘, Islamabad, Pakistan. He is Mphil Leadership & management, and MSc Teleecommunications. He is a multidisciplinary researcher having interest in Technopreneurship, Strategic Management, Innovation, Leadership and operations/technology/project management. He has been Co-Editor for the prestigious ‘The Ravi‘ magazine for GCU, Lahore, and editor for ‘The Gandhara‘ Magazine for F.G College Wah Cantt. He has also got award in a national level competition. Dr. Shafiq loves reading books, travelling, writing, counseling and above all, teaching.
Dr. Muhammad shafiq started his full time professional career in March 2005 from Siemens Telenor program in Karachi in program management team, working with the professionals of 40 countries under a roof. He was part of the merger of Siemens and Nokia, resulting in Nokia Siemens Networks. He has been part of project management, quality assurance and supply chain management teams in Karachi, Multan and Islamabad. He also served and taught in educational institutes abroad and in Pakistan. He got scholarship for his PhD in Malaysia. He has published some research papers, and is involved in editorial services for a few journals. He also have participated in different international conferences as paper presenter, session chair and judge.
