Mr. Ali Moin is a lecturer in the faculty of Management Sciences. He currently holds an MS Finance degree from SZABIST with a CGPA of 3.85. Earlier he graduated from SZABIST Islamabad‘s BBA program in 2010, with the academic gold medal and a CGPA of 3.96/4. Before joining SZABIST Islamabad, he worked as an Assistant Director in the Financial Crimes Investigation Wing of the National Accountability Bureau, where he was selected at the top merit position among the nationwide applicants. He has had professional trainings, inter alia, in Forensic Accounting from the FBI, on the SECP Act, Money Laundering Act (2010), and SBP Prudential Regulations.
His research experience includes dividend policy, working capital management, market efficiency, asset pricing, mutual funds, initial public offering valuations, portfolio management and project management. Lately, his research interests have evolved from financial analysis tools to the factors that affect and the processes that underlie the managerial (and investor) decision-making.
He is currently pursuing his PhD from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
