Dr. Abdul Razzaq K Qureshi has completed PhD in Development Studies with specialization in Disaster management from State University of Pakistan. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Development Studies in the Faculty of Social Sciences at Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan.

He has served at key positions in various national and international organizations for 7 years. His professional career commenced after obtaining an M.Sc. Development Studies from COMSATS IIT Islamabad, Pakistan. So far in his 4 years of academic experience has has successfully supervised 14 MS Scholars in research. His research specialization includes Sector Studies, Development Planning and Management, Disaster Management, Gender Studies, Negotiation and Conflict management and Social Development
