Dr. Aliya Abdul Hayee holds a PhD in Psychology from Quaid-i-Azam University, where her doctoral research focused on Childhood Abuse and Adult Interpersonal Relationships. She is a recipient of the Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal and several academic excellence awards during her MSc and MPhil studies. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor and Program Manager of the MS Clinical Psychology program at SZABIST Islamabad. Her research interests span a wide range of applied and theoretical domains including Social Psychology, Media Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and Health Psychology. Dr. Hayee is particularly passionate about exploring social issues, with a focus on the complex and sensitive topic of child abuse. She has presented and published her research in various national and international journals and conferences. Alongside academia, she has extensive experience collaborating with NGOs and international development organizations working on issues of social change and mental health.

Dr. Aliya Abdul Hayee is a dedicated psychologist, educator, and researcher who believes in creating a nurturing and intellectually engaging environment for students and colleagues. She is passionate about using psychological knowledge to benefit individuals and communities, particularly in addressing sensitive social issues such as child abuse and trauma. Through her role as Assistant Professor and Program Manager for MS Clinical Psychology at SZABIST Islamabad, she combines academic excellence with a strong commitment to community well-being, mental health advocacy, and the development of future mental health professionals.
