Dr. Tazeen Athar has completed her PhD in Mathematics from University of Saarland, Saarbruecken, Germany. Her research interests include Operator Theory, Functional Analysis and Fractals.

Currently she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. She has also served as an Assistant Professor in COMSATS University Islamabad.
