Dr. Azhar Mahmood has completed PhD in Computer Applied Technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) Wuhan China. He is currently an Associate Professor in the department of Computing at Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST), Islamabad, Pakistan.

His research interests include IoT, Wireless Sensor Networks, Data Mining, Smart Homes & Building Technologies. He has published in international journals and conference proceedings. He is currently working on various international projects like Health Information Exchange System, ICU Automation and Mortality Prediction,Smart City Services Device Integration ,and A WSN-Based Smart Home Solution for elderly people.
