Dr. Sadia Saba\, Consultant General Surgeon at Riphah International Hospital\, explained cancer risk factors\, early symptoms\, prevention methods\, and why early diagnosis saves lives. DESCRIPTION:SZABIST University Islamabad proudly celebrated Pukhtoon Culture Day SZABIST 2025\, organized by the SZABIST Pukhtoon Community under the Sports\, Culture\, and Adventure Society (SCAS). The event highlighted the rich heritage\, traditions\, and values of the Pukhtoon community\, offering students a vibrant experience of their cultural identity. \nThe celebration featured lively cultural performances\, music\, poetry\, and the iconic Attan dance. Students actively participated\, making the day both entertaining and memorable. Madam Aasiya Khan\, Former Minister KP and Senior PPP Leader\, attended the event and praised the students for promoting harmony\, unity\, and cultural awareness. \nThe program was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Ali Qureshi\, Head of Student Support Services\, with special guidance from Faculty Advisor Mr. Zeeshan Hamid. Their support ensured the event’s smooth execution and success. \nAt SZABIST Islamabad\, we take pride in celebrating the country’s cultural diversity. Pukhtoon Culture Day SZABIST 2025 reflects our commitment to fostering inclusivity\, respect\, and appreciation for Pakistan’s rich heritage while encouraging students to embrace their identity.

DESCRIPTION:On 30th September 2025\, SZABIST Islamabad hosted an Awareness Seminar on Cardiac Health to promote student well-being and a heart-healthy lifestyle. Organized by the Wellness and Health Society (led by Ms. Sana Mukhtar) and the Community Services & Social Responsibility Society (led by Dr. Iffat Rasool) in collaboration with Shifa International Hospital\, the seminar offered practical insights for preventing cardiovascular diseases. \nDr. Asad Akbar\, Chief of Cardiology at Shifa International Hospital\, shared key strategies for young adults to protect their heart health. He emphasized the importance of balanced diet\, regular exercise\, and stress management in reducing the risk of heart problems. \nThe interactive session allowed students to ask questions and receive practical guidance for daily heart-healthy habits. The seminar concluded with a strong message: awareness\, self-care\, and collective responsibility are essential for a healthier future.
