DESCRIPTION:MSPM Fall 2026 Orientation Welcomes New Cohort at SZABIST Islamabad\nIslamabad\, September 2026: The Department of Management Sciences at SZABIST University Islamabad organized the MSPM Fall 2026 Orientation Session on September 2026\, welcoming the new cohort as they began their academic journey in Project Management. \nThe orientation session provided students with an opportunity to become familiar with the program\, its academic structure\, learning approach\, and the experiences that await them throughout their time at SZABIST University Islamabad. \nDr. Khansa Zaman\, Associate Professor and Program Manager MSPM\, warmly welcomed the students and shared an overview of the academic journey ahead. Mr. Amer Riaz Qureshi\, Assistant Professor and Program Manager MPM\, also addressed the students and provided insights into the learning experience and opportunities available within the field of project management. \nThe session highlighted the MSPM program’s emphasis on connecting academic learning with practical experience. Students were introduced to the importance of assignments\, project-based learning\, research\, and real-world applications of project management concepts\, helping them understand how classroom knowledge can be applied to professional environments. \nStudents were encouraged to actively participate in academic activities\, engage with faculty and peers\, and take advantage of the learning and professional development opportunities available at SZABIST University Islamabad. The orientation also emphasized continuous learning\, practical exposure\, and active involvement as important elements of a successful academic journey. \nThe MSPM Fall 2026 Orientation marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the incoming students. DESCRIPTION:Islamabad\, September 2026: SZABIST University Islamabad is pleased to share the academic achievement of Ms. Saba Butt\, Faculty of Management Sciences\, who presented her research article at the British Academy of Management (BAM) Conference 2026\, held at Royal Holloway\, University of London\, United Kingdom. \nThe research article forms part of Ms. Saba Butt’s doctoral research at NUST Business School\, Islamabad\, reflecting her continued engagement with scholarly research and academic development in the field of management sciences. \nThe BAM Conference 2026 provided an enriching academic environment featuring thoughtfully designed sessions\, scholarly discussions\, and opportunities for researchers to exchange ideas and receive constructive feedback. The conference was supported by a dedicated organising team\, including BAM Chair Prof. Emma Parry FBAM of Cranfield University and Conference Chair Prof. Nisreen Ameen of Royal Holloway\, University of London. \nA notable component of the conference was the Doctoral Symposium\, convened by Prof. Stephanie Decker\, Professor of Strategy at Birmingham Business School. The symposium featured sessions addressing important aspects of academic research and scholarly writing\, including Seven Deadly Writing Sins by Prof. Anna Morgan Thomas\, Management Research: Philosophy and Design by Dr. Alexandra Bristow of The Open University\, and Exploring Theory as a Lens for Research by Prof. Ashley Braganza of Brunel University of London. \nThe conference offered participants a valuable platform for academic learning\, research development\, constructive feedback\, and professional networking.
