Organized by Ma’am Uzma Shahryar of the Management Science Department\, the event aimed to provide a unique intersection of these disciplines\, offering students a holistic understanding of the complex dynamics that shape modern workplaces.\n\n\nThe seminar commenced with an engaging keynote address by Mr. Muhammad Nadeem\, the director General of the Establishment Division in the Government of Pakistan with over twenty-six years of civil service experience\, he holds a master’s degree in Public Management from Harvard University and the National University of Singapore.\n\n\nAt the time of conclusion\, the air buzzed with positive energy. Students eagerly shared their reflections on the seminar’s unique approach\, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to explore the interdisciplinary nature of HRM\, sociology\, and Pakistan Studies the seminar proved to be a resounding success\, leaving a lasting impact on the students of BBA and MBA’s who attended.

Showing great concern about this serious health issue in the community\, the SZABIST University Islamabad organized the breast cancer awareness session in collaboration with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC for faculty\, staff\, and students on Tuesday\, 10th October 2023. The objectives of the session were to raise awareness among the community about breast cancer and to foster a culture of empathy and support for the individuals suffering from this disease.\n\n\n\nThe guest speaker Dr. Talia Safaq senior medical officer at THQ City Hospital Tlagang shared her experience\, insight\, and knowledge to fight against the disease. The speaker also provided a platform for open discussion and question-and-answer sessions to the audience.\n\n\n\nProfessor Dr. Shazia Akhtar the Head of Department of Management Sciences concluded the session with her remarks and appreciation for raising awareness for the serious health issue and conducting the successful session. The session was organized by Dr. Iffat Rasool Associate Professor Department of Management Sciences and Head of Social Responsibility Society at SZABIST University Islamabad.

DESCRIPTION:Phase 1: Recreational Learning Trip to Malaysia \n“Practical knowledge is the ultimate commodity\, and is what will pay you dividends for decades to come.” Robert Greene \nSZABIST University\, Islamabad Campus arranged a recreational learning trip to Malaysia for their students for practical learning. During phase 1\, students got the opportunity to explore Malaysian development by visiting various places such as their seven types of railway infrastructure in Kuala Lumpur\, high-rises\, Petronas tower\, and especially KL tower which is a 6-storey\, 421-metre-tall telecommunication tower in Kuala Lumpur\, Malaysia. It is the world’s 7th tallest tower and Malaysia and Southeast Asia’s second tallest tower. Its construction was completed in 1994. Additionally\, students also explored local food and culture by visiting various local bazaars.

It focused on bridging the gap between theory and application in project management instruction. \nMr. Bilal Ahmad facilitated engaging and insightful training sessions\, providing faculty members with a deep understanding of PMBOK 7’s updated structure and principles. He guided them through the vision of the 7th Edition and helped them transition from traditional frameworks to modern performance domains.
