SUMMARY:SZABIST Islamabad Students Attend Maritime Symposium at Bahria University
DESCRIPTION:Islamabad: Students from the Department of Social Sciences at SZABIST University Islamabad attended a Maritime Symposium hosted by Bahria University\, accompanied by Head of Department Mr. Taraq Waheed and Ms. Khadija. The symposium was attended by the Chief of the Naval Staff\, Pakistan\, as the Chief Guest\, highlighting the importance of maritime affairs in the contemporary global landscape. \nThe event featured insightful presentations by distinguished guest speakers on two key dimensions of maritime affairs: the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and Maritime Peace and Crisis. \nThe discussions explored the evolving dynamics of international maritime law\, geopolitical interests\, maritime security\, regional stability\, and the importance of international cooperation in addressing emerging challenges at sea. \nFor students of Social Sciences and International Relations\, the symposium provided an opportunity to understand the strategic\, legal\, and diplomatic dimensions of maritime affairs. It also offered valuable insights into the practical implications of maritime governance and its growing significance in international relations. \nAcademic engagements of this nature help bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world developments. They encourage intellectual curiosity\, critical thinking\, and a deeper understanding of the complex issues shaping global affairs. \nSZABIST University Islamabad extends its sincere appreciation to Bahria University for hosting this enriching academic engagement and providing a distinguished platform for knowledge exchange\, dialogue\, and learning.
