DESCRIPTION:Thesis Guidance & Research Orientation Session Held at SZABIST Islamabad\nIslamabad\, September 2026: The Department of Social Sciences\, SZABIST University Islamabad\, organized a Thesis Guidance & Research Orientation Session to provide students with essential guidance on the university’s thesis process\, research requirements\, ethical standards\, and thesis evaluation procedures. \nThe session aimed to familiarize students with the key stages of thesis development and provide practical guidance on preparing and completing their research effectively. Students were introduced to important aspects of thesis structure\, academic writing\, research integrity\, and responsible research practices. \nA significant part of the session focused on research ethics and Institutional Ethical Review Board (IERB) requirements. Students were guided on the importance of following ethical protocols\, maintaining research integrity\, and meeting the necessary institutional requirements before and during the research process. \nThe session also covered the thesis evaluation process\, helping students understand the expectations and key requirements at different stages of thesis development and assessment. The practical guidance provided students with greater clarity on how to approach their research work in a structured and academically rigorous manner. \nThe session was organized by Dr. Aliya Abdul Hayee\, Program Manager\, MS Clinical Psychology\, as part of the department’s efforts to strengthen research support and facilitate students throughout their academic journey. \nThe Thesis Guidance & Research Orientation Session reflects the Department of Social Sciences’ continued commitment to academic excellence\, research integrity\, and student support. Through such initiatives\, the department continues to foster a strong culture of responsible\, ethical\, and high-quality research at SZABIST University Islamabad.
