DESCRIPTION:Mr. Muhammad Ali Khan and Miss Saba Butt\, lecturers from the Management Sciences Department at SZABIST University Islamabad\, participated in the “Teaching by the Case Method” workshop during the AMRC 2026 Conference held at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) on 6th February. \nThe workshop explored the effectiveness of case-based teaching in higher education\, emphasizing how real-world scenarios foster critical thinking\, student engagement\, and practical decision-making. The sessions highlighted the transition from traditional lecture-based delivery to interactive learning\, enabling students to analyze problems\, debate perspectives\, and apply theoretical knowledge to realistic business situations. \nParticipation in the workshop proved highly enriching for the SZABIST faculty\, reinforcing the importance of integrating case study pedagogy into business education to better prepare students for professional challenges. This engagement reflects SZABIST’s ongoing commitment to continuous faculty development and adoption of modern teaching methodologies to enhance the learning experience of its students.
