SUMMARY:CV & Interview Skills Session – SZABIST University Islamabad
DESCRIPTION:As part of the Professional Development Week (PDW)\, SZABIST University Islamabad hosted a CV & Interview Skills Session on Wednesday\, April 23\, 2025\, for graduating students of BS Software Engineering (BSSE) and BS Computer Science (BSCS). The Students Career Services & Alumni Relations Office (SCS&AR) led the event to prepare students for the fast-paced tech job market. \nMr. Sheraz Ahmed\, Head of Technology\, Digital Partnerships\, and Innovation at the British Council Islamabad\, conducted the session. He shared actionable strategies to help students craft tech-focused CVs and perform effectively during interviews. Mr. Ahmed guided participants on aligning resumes with industry requirements\, showcasing academic projects\, and communicating problem-solving skills clearly during interviews. \nThroughout the CV & Interview Skills Session\, students learned how to build professional job applications and present themselves with confidence. They practiced tailoring resumes to specific roles and identifying key technical achievements that attract recruiters’ attention. Mr. Ahmed encouraged students to highlight both technical expertise and soft skills\, creating a balanced professional profile. \nBy the end of the session\, students gained stronger interview confidence\, a deeper understanding of employer expectations\, and practical knowledge of how to compete successfully in the technology sector. \nThis initiative reflects SZABIST University Islamabad’s ongoing dedication to career readiness\, industry engagement\, and professional growth. \n
