It helps build trust\, reinforce spoken messages\, and navigate difficult conversations with confidence and clarity. \nDuring the session\, students practiced and decoded key gestures and postures to better understand contextual meaning and professional presence. \nBody Language Cues Covered: \nPower Pose – boosts self-confidence and assertiveness\nOpen Hands – signals honesty and openness\nSustained Eye Contact – shows attentiveness and credibility\nRelaxed Shoulders – reflects composure and calm\nSteepling Fingers – conveys confidence and authority\nLeaning Forward – expresses genuine interest\nCrossed Arms – may indicate defensiveness or closed-off mindset\nHands Behind Back – suggests control or unease depending on context\nLow-Value Poses (slouching\, avoiding eye contact) – diminish presence and influence \nThe session encouraged students to reflect on how their non-verbal communication aligns with their spoken words\, especially in interviews\, presentations\, and professional interactions. \n
