SUMMARY:International Housing Expo 2022
DESCRIPTION:International Housing Expo 2022 \nIslamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry – ICCI\, in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Work\, has organized the 1st International Housing Expo – 2022 from December 8-11\, 2022\, at the Convention Center\, Islamabad. The students of Corporate Finance (BSAF-7) visited the Expo on Dec 08\, 2022\, under the supervision of Mr.Hassan Zada. \nThe central theme of the Expo was “SHELTER FOR ALL\,” as this is one of the fundamental rights of every citizen of Pakistan. They have invited local and international developers\, builders\, architects\, designers\, allied industries\, and real estate development companies to showcase their state-of-the-art residential and commercial projects for visitors. Policy dialogues were also held on the sidelines in which experts from the public and private sectors and academia were invited to discuss new technologies\, new bylaws in the housing and construction industry and creating public-private partnerships to deliver investments for building eco-friendly and affordable housing projects across Pakistan. \nThe students visited different stalls arranged by various real estate agencies and questioned them regarding their investment schemes. The agencies also introduced the students to upcoming housing societies for investment purposes. Overall\, it was a good experience for the students and helped them acquire knowledge of housing schemes and investment opportunities.
