SUMMARY:Why Do Company Pay Dividend?
DESCRIPTION:A seminar was arranged by Dr. Hassan Raza Assistant Professor SZABIST Islamabad for the MBA Strategic Finance. Dr. Safdar Ali Butt was invited as Guest Speaker who is a financial expert\, a senior corporate official\, a trainer\, an academician\, an author and an entrepreneur\, with having 26 years of industry and 30 year of teaching experience. Topic of discussion was “why do companies pays dividend?”. The Guest speaker shared his experience on how paying dividends allows companies to share their profits with shareholders\, which helps to thank shareholders for their ongoing support via higher returns and to incentive them to continue holding the stocks.
