The session aimed to provide students with hands-on experience using the London Stock Exchange Group Workspace\, an essential tool for acquiring and handling reliable data in business analytics research. By participating\, students gained practical insights into data extraction techniques\, preparing them for data-driven research projects and enabling them to utilize data effectively for thesis work and other research activities. \nTrainer’s Profile\nThe session was facilitated by Dr. Sumaira Chamadia\, PhD\, Assistant Professor and Cluster Head of Accounting and Finance at SZABIST University\, Karachi. Dr. Chamadia brings a wealth of experience in financial data analysis\, portfolio management\, and academic research. Her expertise allowed students to learn valuable skills for navigating complex financial databases. \nHighlights of the Session\nThe training provided students with a thorough understanding of the London Stock Exchange Group Workspace. Also\, emphasizing its practical applications in business analytics. Students were guided through the process of data extraction and management\, allowing them to directly apply these skills to their coursework and research projects.\nAudience Response\nThe session well-received\, with students engaging actively throughout.
