DESCRIPTION:SZABIST University Islamabad proudly highlights the participation of Dr. Arooj Mujeeb\, Faculty of Social Sciences\, at the Pakistan Reading and Learning Festival 2025\, held at Lok Virsa\, Islamabad. \nDr. Arooj Mujeeb was invited as one of the 12 distinguished resource persons/trainers from across Pakistan to conduct a specialized training session titled “Neurodiversity: A Teacher Action Plan” at the Exhibition Hall. \nThe training session engaged students and teachers from various government schools\, focusing on strengthening inclusive educational practices and enhancing awareness around neurodiversity in classroom settings. \nKey Learning Outcomes\nParticipants gained valuable insights into: \n\n\nUnderstanding diversity and neurodiversity \n\n\nIdentifying different types and manifestations of neurodiversity \n\n\nPracticing constructive classroom communication \n\n\nRecognizing the need for effective referral systems for neurodiverse learners \n\n\nThe session featured interactive discussions\, short video clips\, and an engaging Q&A segment\, encouraging meaningful dialogue between educators and learners. \nThrough such national-level academic contributions\, SZABIST University Islamabad continues to demonstrate its commitment to inclusive education\, faculty leadership\, teacher development\, and community engagement. \n
