SUMMARY:Breast Cancer Awareness Session SZABIST 2025 – Empowering Students on Women’s Health
DESCRIPTION:On October 30\, 2025\, the Community Service and Social Responsibility Society\, together with the Wellness and Health Society at SZABIST University Islamabad\, organized a powerful Breast Cancer Awareness session in collaboration with Shifa Hospital Islamabad. The event was held under the guidance of Dr. Iffat Rasool and Ms. Sana Mukhtar. \nDr. Nimra\, Consultant at Shifa Hospital Islamabad\, delivered an engaging session highlighting the importance of early detection\, regular screening\, and self-examination in preventing and managing breast cancer. The discussion encouraged open conversations on women’s health\, addressing social taboos\, and promoting preventive care. \nStudents actively participated\, learning about symptoms\, risk factors\, and the significance of emotional support for patients and survivors. Many attendees shared that the session inspired them to become health advocates within their families and communities. \nThrough this initiative\, SZABIST reinforced its commitment to health education\, community service\, and social responsibility\, empowering students to promote wellness and awareness in society.

SUMMARY:Advanced Data Analysis Workshop SmartPLS4
DESCRIPTION:On November 6\, 2025\, Rawalpindi Women University (RWU) hosted a hands-on workshop on Advanced Data Analysis Using SmartPLS4\, conducted by Dr. Muhammad Shafiq\, Program Manager – EMBA/PMBA/MHRM and faculty member at SZABIST University Islamabad. \nThe workshop brought together faculty members and MS/PhD students of RWU\, who actively participated and engaged in practical exercises. Dr. Shafiq demonstrated advanced data analysis techniques\, highlighting applications of SmartPLS4 for structural equation modeling and quantitative research. Participants gained valuable insights into using modern tools for research efficiency and accuracy. \nAt the conclusion of the session\, Dr. Shehzad\, HoD – Business Administration at RWU\, expressed gratitude to Dr. Shafiq for his contribution to enhancing research skills. A token of appreciation was presented on behalf of Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza\, Vice Chancellor of RWU. \nThis collaborative session reflects SZABIST Islamabad’s commitment to academic excellence\, research development\, and inter-institutional knowledge sharing.

DESCRIPTION:Ms. Shehnaz Wazir Ali\, President of SZABIST\, represented the university as a panelist at the SDPI International Sustainable Development Conference 2025 in the session on “Circular Economy and Net Zero Emissions.” \nShe highlighted that a fair transition to sustainability requires empowering marginalized and informal-sector workers. Inclusion in green value chains\, skill development\, and innovative practices can reduce environmental impact and increase economic participation. These measures also boost productivity and contribute to national growth. \nThe SZABIST delegation included Mr. Khusro Pervaiz Khan\, Head of Campus\, and Prof. Dr. Shazia Akhtar\, Head of Management Sciences. SDG Focal Persons Dr. Ayesha Noor and Ms. Saba Butt joined the panel\, strengthening links between academia\, policy\, and industry. \nKey strategies discussed included:✅ Building capacities of local communities and knowledge workers✅ Encouraging green entrepreneurship✅ Adopting circular business models for sustainable outcomes \nThrough active engagement in conferences and policy discussions\, SZABIST continues to support sustainable development\, inclusive growth\, and practical research.
