DESCRIPTION:On December 5\, 2023\, a seminar was organized by the BBA and BSAF departments\, focusing on financial management and specifically addressing investment appraisals using real-time data from the Pakistan Stock market. Instructors from both programs explained the fundamentals of risk-return principles in stock investments\, incorporating hands-on practice with Excel tools. They applied financial theories like the Capital Asset Pricing Model and Fama and French Three-Factor Model to evaluate stock overpricing and underpricing\, guiding students in making well-informed investment decisions. The Financial Management students expressed satisfaction in witnessing these concepts in action in the local stock market\, acknowledging the valuable guidance provided for this practical learning opportunity in finance.
