SUMMARY:Environment Leadership Forum
DESCRIPTION:The Stand for Peace Trust organized a workshop for students enrolled in the BS Social Sciences program\, under the supervision of Ms. Sana Mukhtar (Program Manager – BSSS). This workshop is a component of the Environment Leadership Forum (ELF) project\, currently being implemented by the Stand for Peace Trust (SFP) in collaboration with the US Embassy in Pakistan. The primary objective of the project is to raise awareness among youth regarding environmental issues\, challenges\, and the active role that civil society can play in preserving the environment.\nThe key focus of the event was to promote tree plantation and environmental protection among the youth. Additionally\, students were encouraged to become activists for climate change issues. The workshop serves as a platform to inspire environmental leadership and instill a sense of responsibility for the well-being of our planet among the younger generation.
