SUMMARY:MBA Experiential Learning Activity
DESCRIPTION: Dr Arusa Khalid\, Assistant Professor Department of Management Sciences\, SZABIST\, Islamabad campus\, organized a trip of MBA students to Metro Cash and Carry on Friday 20th May 2022. Mr. Yousaf Haroon (MTO\, Metro) and Mr. Syed Bilal (HR Manager\, Metro) welcomed the students and briefed them about various departments of Metro Cash and Carry\, including operations\, merchandising\, sales\, and marketing\, etc. The trip was also intended to enhance students’ knowledge concerning an organization’s positive differentiation over its rivals from the consumers’ perspective.

SUMMARY:MBA Project simulations
DESCRIPTION:MBA Project simulations were held for the MBA students as a part of their semester-long project (Strategic Marketing) on Thursday\, June 27\, 2022\, under the supervision of Dr. Arusa Khalid. \nThe simulation can be very time-constrained\, and solutions and strategies need to be rushed\, making it more entertaining. On the other hand\, it allows for a lot of creativity and going off-script\, as the instructor manages the simulation and can modify conditions to make it even more realistic. Students welcomed their evaluators\, Dr. Saqib Mehmood and Dr. Zoya Wajid\, and explained their project ideas. The evaluators provided students with valuable suggestions.
