DESCRIPTION:An awareness session was held on 16th November 2021 for the female students of SZABIST Islamabad. The focus of the session was Dr. Shumaila Zeb\, Associate Professor (Management Sciences) led the session and emphasized the importance of Self-Presentation in settings such as the workplace or academic institute. She highlighted how such self-presentation strategies can be helpful for Pakistani females to achieve milestones for their careers in a more dignified way. As the session was interactive it gave a chance to students to share their concerns and problems. \n

The guest speaker Dr. Moin Uddin (Ph.D. SKEMA Business School) Corporate Director of Human Resources & Organization Development at Tourism Promotion Services (Pakistan) Limited addressed the students and gave them value-added suggestions to understand their personal social responsibilities as active members of society.

SUMMARY:“Media Sciences Student’s Visit at PTV News”- SZABIST Islamabad
DESCRIPTION:                                                     \n\n\n\nWith massive inclinations\, it is to apprise that SZABIST Media Science Department has arranged a special visit of Media students to PTV News Centre and PTV World Islamabad. During this visit Mr. Aoun Abbas Sahi (Executive News Producer – Pakistan Television News) shared that: “Pakistan television has always been working as per the public requirements and it will keep working to maintain the sustainability of its advanced operational developments collectively”.\n\n\nStudents of media sciences also had a meeting with Mr. Arif Mehmood (Director News Centre). Students got very excited after a wonderful tour of PTV. Mr. Haroon Elahi Toor (Senior News Editor) and Ms. Feroza Almas (Executive Manager – PTV News) have given a briefing to all Media students and introduced the advanced technical procedures of the newsroom and current affairs programs.
