DESCRIPTION:  \n \nMedia Sciences SZABIST Islamabad has organized a one-day workshop on “Pakistani Art of Calligraphy”. The workshop was conducted by renowned calligraphy artist Sharjeel Ahmed\, best known for his skills as a calligrapher and a painter. He has been associated with PNCA for long. His work has a chief emphasis on خط ثالث and خط دیوانی. His inspirations and teachers in the field of calligraphy have been Rasheed Butt and Muhammad Elahi Bukhsh Mutee\, who are prominent calligraphers of Pakistan. The workshop helped media students learn calligraphy as new media art\, also about the history of Arabic calligraphy and how to create Arabic calligraphy themselves
