DESCRIPTION:Students from diverse academic backgrounds gathered at the prestigious Grandview Auditorium to attend a groundbreaking seminar that promised to bridge the realms of Human Resource Management (HRM) Sociology and Pakistan studies. Organized by Ma’am Uzma Shahryar of the Management Science Department\, the event aimed to provide a unique intersection of these disciplines\, offering students a holistic understanding of the complex dynamics that shape modern workplaces.\n\n\nThe seminar commenced with an engaging keynote address by Mr. Muhammad Nadeem\, the director General of the Establishment Division in the Government of Pakistan with over twenty-six years of civil service experience\, he holds a master’s degree in Public Management from Harvard University and the National University of Singapore.\n\n\nAt the time of conclusion\, the air buzzed with positive energy. Students eagerly shared their reflections on the seminar’s unique approach\, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to explore the interdisciplinary nature of HRM\, sociology\, and Pakistan Studies the seminar proved to be a resounding success\, leaving a lasting impact on the students of BBA and MBA’s who attended.

DESCRIPTION:A seminar on “Leadership in the Age of AI\,” was held on November 23\, 2023\, featuring the dynamic guest speaker\, Mr. Wahaj Siraj\, CEO of Nayatel. The event was organized and moderated by Saba Butt with co-organizer Ms. Summaya Amra. MBA\, MS\, MHRM\, and BS Social Sciences students attended the session.\nMr. Wahaj Siraj illuminated the path for embracing new changes by highlighting the redefined role of leadership\, and discussing how to harness the transformative power of the humanistic approach towards the revolutionized business landscape while navigating its challenges. He emphasized the need for an adaptive and initiative-driven approach towards the rapidly evolving business environment.\nThe event also featured a lively discussion with students and professionals from different organizations. The guest speaker shared his journey and life experiences blended with impactful poetry that provided the students with an engaged learning opportunity. Attendees actively participated thus contributing to a rich exchange of ideas. One of the highlights was the vibrant Q&A session\, where attendees could pose thought-provoking questions to Mr. Wahaj Siraj.

The event was organized by SZABIST Curtain Society\, SZABIST Social Sciences Society\, SZABIST Literary Union\, SZABIST Dramatic Society\, and SZABIST CS Society under the management/guidance of Dr. Wajid Zulqarnain\, Dr. Wajid Hussain\, Dr. Naveed Ullah Hashmi\, and Ms. Sana Mukthar.\n\n\nThis program was made special with Sufi Kalam\, Ghazals\, cultural performances\, and a Qawwali\, which filled the evening with joy\, excitement\, and laughter culminating in life-time lasting memories.\n\n\nDuring performances\, the audience joined in with the performers to sing along to the melodies and senior students bid welcome to the freshers\, while the latter gave titles to their outgoing seniors.\n\n\nThe program ended with a spiritual ambiance of Qawali.

SUMMARY:Clean up Drive Shah Allah Ditta Caves Islamabad
DESCRIPTION:Preserving the historical and ecological integrity is a shared responsibility that goes beyond mere exploration. Keeping in view the environmental stewardship\, the society of Social Responsibility and Society of Environment & Climate change SZABIST University Islamabad collectively arranged a visit to Shah Allah Ditta Caves in Islamabad on Thursday 30th November 2023. The main objective was to educate both students about the environmental impact of human activities. \nThe visit was a fascinating experience that combined information about history\, spirituality\, and natural beauty. Armed with gloves\, trash bags\, and a shared commitment to environmental stewardship\, the students extended their clean-up efforts to the immediate vicinity. The cleanup activity was educational initiatives. A designated area was allocated for waste sorting. Volunteers segregated recyclables from non-recyclables\, showcasing the potential for responsible waste management. This practical demonstration was aimed to motivate not only the students but also those who would follow in their footsteps. The activity was a tangible way to show the commitment of students to the well-being of society and planet. \nThe activity was organized by Mr Asad Gillani the president of Social Responsibility Society and Mr Zeerak the President of Environment & Climate change Society SZABIST University Islamabad under the supervision of Dr. Iffat Rasool Head of  Social Responsibility Society and Dr Denial Pirzada Head of Environment & Climate change Society.
