DESCRIPTION:Environment plays an important role in healthy living and the existence of life on planet earth. Earth is a home for different living species and we all are dependent on the environment for food\, air\, water\, and other needs. Therefore\, it is important for every individual to save and protect our environment. On 1st June 2022 Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) organizes an exhibition on the theme “Only one Earth”. Students of the SZABIST Islamabad campus participated keenly under the supervision of Shahid Jahangir Raja (Faculty Member of Management Science) for a positive contribution to making this planet a safer place to live.

SUMMARY:Buyer-Centered Marketing
DESCRIPTION:Students of BBA-6B conceived business ideas and developed business plans to transform their ideas into start-ups. Furthermore\, they developed their product prototypes and tested their products in real markets. The purpose of the project was to cultivate their business acumen\, develop enterprise skills and explore their career options. Not only did they gain valuable experience but some of the teams were able to make good sales as well.

DESCRIPTION:BBA Experiential Activity \nA project simulation was conducted by the students of BBA 4 (A & B) as a part of their semester-long project on Retail Management under the supervision of Dr. Arusa Khalid. Students welcomed their evaluators\, Mr. Syed Shahwar Hussain and Ms. Saima Saleem\, and briefed them about their sustainable and eco-friendly retail plans and appreciated their feedback. Program Manager Dr. Shumaila Zeb showed full support\, and worthy HOC Mr. Khusro Pervaiz Khan appreciated the students’ efforts.

SUMMARY:National IP & Brand Protection Summit
DESCRIPTION:National IP & Brand Protection Summit\n\nFaculty of Management Sciences at SZABIST Islamabad\, Prof. Dr. Shazia Akhtar\, and Ms. Saima Saleem were invited as esteemed guests to National IP & Brand Protection Summit.  The team connected with the Management Sciences and Industrial Design Department of NUST in which they agreed to work in collaboration. It was a great platform for both universities to exchange their ideas. The MBA team at SZABIST Islamabad is working on this partnership and has decided to use a Design-centric approach while developing ideas for real-world problems for the second phase of the Innovation Challenge.\n\n\n\n\n

SUMMARY:SZABIST Islamabad Celebrated Cultural Diversity Day
DESCRIPTION:The Social Sciences Department celebrated under the supervision of Ms. Aliya Abdul Hayee (Program Manager BSSS) and Ms. Attieya Iqbal (Lecturer Anthropology) for creating understanding about the culturally diverse and peaceful environment for all. Students prepared and displayed their native cultural and sub-cultural thematic objects from Gilgit Baltistan\, Balochistan\, Khyber Pakhtoon khwa and Punjab. The event was inaugurated by the Head of Campus in the presence of the Social Sciences faculty.\n\n\nThis event helped the audience to recognize and respect “ways of being” that they necessarily do not own\, and interact with others to build bridges to trust respect\, and understanding across cultures.
