DESCRIPTION:Panel discussion on “Imperative role of HRM for organizational Development” was organized by Associate Professor Dr. Iffat Rasool and moderated by Professor Dr. Shazia Akhtar on Monday 10th January 2022 for the students of MBA Day\, Evening\, and MHRM.\n\n\nDR. Shazia Hassan Assistant Professor NDU\, Islamabad shared her views on HR in the academic world and emphasized teaching both hard and soft skills to the students for meeting the future careers.\n\n\nRaja Danish Nadeem Associate Director\, Commercial Finance Data Governance. He talked about the importance of inclusion and diversity as its presence makes the employees feel more engaged and contribute to the organization’s business results.\n\n\nDr. Moin Uddin\, Ph.D.\, PMP Corporate Director of Human Resources & Organization Development at Tourism Promotion Services (Pakistan) Limited had a word on Corporate ethics in HRM as the ethical behavior of managers helps to determine what is right and what is wrong.\n\n\nThe chief guest Professor Dr. M. Asif Khan the Head of Management Department appreciated the contribution of panelists for sharing their valuable time and knowledge and distributed the certificates and souvenirs to the guests. The main objective of the activity was to revamp the HRM image for students through the experience of industry and academia.

SUMMARY:Career Fair 2022 at SZABIST Islamabad
DESCRIPTION:On January 11\, 2022\, the SZABIST\, Islamabad hosted the Career Fair 2022. The event drew around 50 well-known national and multinational corporations. The goal of this event was to connect students with companies from various organizations in order to discuss internship and job prospects. Participating organizations were also able to interact with young\, energetic people and present themselves as preferred employers at the recruitment expo. The students who attended the job fair praised the EDC for providing them with unprecedented exposure and an engaging opportunity to speak with Pakistan’s major organizations. \n  \n \n

DESCRIPTION:  \n \nPakistan and Azerbaijan\, both countries are in a strong strategic and brotherly relation\, our sorrows and happiness are shared. The countries are in collaborations in every segment of life. The cooperation between think-tank and Universities is very important too. Therefore\, Department of Social sciences (Development Studies)\,  dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of January 20 martyrs in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Pakistan\, along with facilitation of the Institute of Regional Studies (IRS-Islamabad). The seminar was held on January 19\, 2022 at IRS-Islamabad. Key speakers of the events were; H.E Mr. Khazar Fardohv\, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan\, Mr. Khusro Pervez Khan\, Head of Campus\, SZABIST\, Islamabad\, Ambassador Nadeem Riyaz; President of Institute of Regional Studies\,Dr. Taraq Waheed Khan: Head of Social Sciences department. The event was successfully organized by Dr. Abdul Razzaq Khan Qureshi (Faculty member of Development Studies-SZABIST) and a Graduating student Mr. Zaman Bajwa.
