DESCRIPTION:BBA Experiential Learning Activity (Visit to Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry)\n\n\n\nDepartment of Management Sciences organized a visit for BBA 7 & 8 (Marketing / Supply Chain Management) to the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry on May 07\, 2024\, & met with Ahsan Bakhtawari\, President ICCI. He informed the students about the chamber’s operations\, methodology\, and role in promoting small and medium businesses. He encouraged the students to focus on entrepreneurship and business. He stated that educated youth should focus on starting their own businesses instead of just looking for jobs after obtaining their degrees\, he added that in this way they will become job providers instead of job seekers. The ICCI President also assured the students of complete guidance and support from the chamber regarding new ventures and entrepreneurship.\n\n\n\nMuhammad Ali\, Executive Member ICCI\, Khalid Chaudhary\, Former SVP\, Zia Khalid Chaudhry Convener Protocol Committee\, Adnan Mukhtiar\, Convener HEC were also present on the occasion. The visit intended to emphasize the importance of knowledge sharing between Academia & Industry and was highly appreciated by Dr. Muhammad Asif Khan (Dean of Management Sciences) and Dr. Shumaila Zeb (Program Manager BBA). Its significance lies in its ability to empower individuals and organizations alike with the means to unravel complex datasets\, distill actionable insights\, and drive informed decision-making.\n\n\n\nIn light of Power BI’s importance\, Dr.Ayesha Noor\, Faculty of Management Sciences  has arranged a workshop on 7th May 2024 for research students so that they will be able to import\, clean\, and prepare research data for analysis using Power BI and they will be equipped with the skills to integrate Power BI into their research workflows\, enhancing efficiency and productivity in conducting research projects.\n\n\n\nMr.Aqib Javed a very talented and seasoned professional working with the PTCL group graced this workshop.
