DESCRIPTION:Thalassemia Awareness – Seminar\n\n\n\nThe Social Responsibility Society SZABIST University Islamabad organized an awareness session on the causes and cure of Thalassemia on Saturday 4th of May 2024.\n\n\n\nThe main objective of the seminar was to educate the students about the causes\, symptoms\, and complications of Thalassemia\, and develop empathy for victims of disease.\n\n\n\nAir Vice Marshal (R) Aftab Hussain head of Sundas Foundation Fatima Jinnah Park\, Islamabad shed light on the growing problem of Thalassemia in Pakistan and shared the details of the contribution of Sundas Foundation for providing free medical treatment to the underprivileged.\n\n\n\nThe students gained a deeper understanding of Thalassemia’s impact on individuals and communities. Overall\, the seminar raised awareness and promoted advocacy to take proactive measures in managing Thalassemia effectively.\n\n\n\n Dr Shumaila Zeb PM. BBA and Dr. Iffat Rasool Head of Social Responsibility Society supervised the session.\n\n\nFor more information click here
