DESCRIPTION:SZABIST University Islamabad successfully hosted Job Fair 2026 \, organized by Student Career Services & Alumni Relations in collaboration with the SZABIST Alumni Global Association (SAGA). The event provided an exceptional platform for students and recent graduates to connect directly with leading employers\, explore career opportunities\, and gain valuable industry exposure. \nThe fair brought together 36 organizations representing nine diverse industry sectors\, including information technology\, banking\, healthcare\, telecommunications\, education\, media\, and the social development sector. A total of 103 industry representatives participated in the event\, creating a dynamic environment for recruitment\, networking\, and professional engagement. \nTechnology companies formed the largest group of participating employers\, reflecting the increasing demand for talent in software development\, data analytics\, artificial intelligence\, and emerging digital technologies. Business and management graduates were among the most sought-after candidates\, followed closely by students from computing and technology disciplines. \nThroughout the event\, employers conducted screening discussions\, reviewed resumes\, and shared information about internship programs\, management trainee opportunities\, and full-time career positions. Industry representatives emphasized the growing importance of communication\, problem-solving\, and analytical skills\, alongside technical competencies such as data analytics\, AI applications\, and digital marketing expertise. \nJob Fair 2026 served as a valuable bridge between academia and industry\, enabling students to better understand employer expectations while expanding their professional networks. The event also reinforced the importance of career readiness and lifelong learning in an increasingly competitive job market. \nBy connecting emerging talent with active recruiters and industry leaders\, Job Fair 2026 strengthened SZABIST Islamabad’s industry partnerships and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to graduate employability\, professional development\, and meaningful academia–industry collaboration.

DESCRIPTION:MBA students from SZABIST University Islamabad\, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Shazia Akhtar\, participated in an insightful industrial visit to the Regional Office of TCS Pakistan. \nDuring the visit\, students engaged in an interactive panel discussion with the Director and senior management team of TCS Pakistan. The session provided valuable insights into contemporary human resource and operational challenges within the logistics industry. \nKey discussion areas included Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)\, fair recruitment practices\, KPI-based performance appraisal systems\, employee engagement\, talent management\, workplace diversity\, HR automation\, and maintaining work-life balance in fast-paced operational environments. \nThe leadership team at TCS also shared their experiences in managing operational complexities across multiple provinces while leading a workforce of more than 14\,000 employees nationwide. Students learned how strong organizational culture\, employee-focused policies\, and continuous professional development contribute to operational excellence and sustainable workforce management. \nThe industrial visit proved to be a highly valuable experiential learning opportunity for MBA students\, enabling them to connect classroom knowledge with real-world business practices in logistics\, human resource management\, and organizational leadership. \nThis initiative reflects SZABIST Islamabad’s commitment to industry-oriented education and preparing students for professional success through practical exposure and engagement with leading organizations.
