DESCRIPTION:On 22 November 2025\, the Youth Empowerment Society (YES) at SZABIST University Islamabad\, guided by Dr. Abdul Razzaq Khan (Faculty Advisor & Program Manager – MSDS)\, successfully hosted a seminar titled “Global Business Made Simple: The Amazon Model Explained.” \nOrganized in collaboration with Global Prep Services (GPS)\, a leading e-commerce training organization\, the session provided students with practical insights into: \n\n\nGlobal e-commerce operations \n\n\nAmazon Wholesale business model \n\n\nU.S. LLC formation for business expansion \n\n\n3PL warehouse systems \n\n\nLow-risk strategies for launching and scaling Amazon ventures \n\n\nExpert trainers shared real-world experiences\, helping students understand how Amazon entrepreneurship can open doors to global business opportunities. \nThis seminar directly aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): \n\n\nSDG 4 – Quality Education: Developing modern digital and entrepreneurial skills \n\n\nSDG 8 – Decent Work & Economic Growth: Promoting sustainable income-generating opportunities \n\n\nA big appreciation to YES and GPS for empowering our students with the essential skills required to thrive in today’s global digital economy.

DESCRIPTION:The Department of Management Sciences at SZABIST University Islamabad organized an insightful knowledge-sharing session on Procurement 4.0 on November 22\, 2025. Mr. Muhammad Taha Shabbir\, an MCIPS-certified Procurement Business Partner at Spark New Zealand\, served as the guest speaker. He brings over ten years of experience across the telecom and IT sectors in New Zealand\, Pakistan\, and the Gulf. He discussed the global shift toward digital and data-driven procurement. He highlighted the role of AI\, IoT\, automation\, and advanced analytics in modern supply chains. EMBA and MBA students actively participated and engaged in meaningful discussion. Mr. Khuraim Javaid Iqbal\, Visiting Faculty in Supply Chain Management\, moderated the session. Dr. Muhammad Shafiq\, Program Manager\, presented a token of appreciation and reaffirmed SZABIST’s commitment to industry–academia collaboration.
