SUMMARY:SZABIST PIDE Collaboration 2025: Strengthening Academic Ties
DESCRIPTION:SZABIST University Islamabad continues to build meaningful academic partnerships through the SZABIST PIDE Collaboration 2025. Prof. Dr. Shazia Akhtar (HoD Management Sciences)\, Dr. Zoya Wajid\, and Mr. Aizaz Malik represented SZABIST in a productive meeting with the Registrar\, Director EDC\, and Director ORIC at PIDE. The session aimed to put the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)\, signed in Summer 2024\, into action. \nThe meeting outlined a one-year plan focused on academic synergy\, student growth\, and institutional development. Both universities discussed areas such as FinTech programs\, specialized diploma training\, joint research\, and applied research workshops. These initiatives aim to improve learning outcomes and research productivity. \nSZABIST proposed new ways for faculty and students to collaborate through co-hosted seminars\, expert panels\, and academic events. The team also highlighted placement opportunities for MPhil and PhD students within PIDE. Their presentation received positive feedback and opened doors for joint projects and knowledge-sharing. \nPIDE showed strong interest in mentoring\, skill development\, and academic exchange. This collaboration marks the start of a high-impact partnership focused on innovation\, education\, and student success. Together\, both institutions are committed to turning this vision into measurable progress and long-term growth.
