BS (Social Sciences)


The candidate must have completed O-Levels (minimum 8 subjects including 5 compulsory subjects; English, Urdu, Maths, Islamiat & Pakistan Studies) and A-levels (minimum 3 Subjects)/ 12th Grade/ Intermediate with minimum 50% marks or equivalent from a recognized institution.



MS (Social Sciences)


For admission to MS ( Social Sciences )program, candidates must possess 16 years of relevant education with minimum 45% marks/2.0 CGPA from a university recognized by HEC. GAT (General) or HAT relevant is mandatory for MS students with minimum 50% score.



MS (Socialogy)


16 years of education in a related field with minimum 55% marks or CGPA 2.5 and GAT General with minimum 50% score.
An entrance test and group discussion / interview.



MS (Development Studies)


For admission to MS (Development Studies) program, candidates must possess 16 years of relevant education with minimum 45% marks/2.0 CGPA from a university recognized by HEC. GAT (General) or HAT relevant is mandatory for MS students with minimum 50% score.



Other Requirements


  • Attested copies of all educational documents
  • For A levels: Statement of entry is also needed (those waiting for results)
  • For Intermediate : Roll no Slip is also needed (those waiting for results)
Those waiting for results can also apply but with no supplementary in First year.
An entrance test, interview/ group discussion will be given to all applicants at SZABIST.
Alternatively, applicants may submit acceptable scores of GRE for MS (Social Sciences & Economics).

Note:


  • All applicants will be required to appear in an entrance test and interview/group discussion held by SZABIST.
  • Students waiting for results can also apply.
  • Admission of Foreign students are subject to clearance from the relevant Agencies/NoC from HEC

For Undergraduate

  • 2 "E" grades in A-Level exam will not be entertained for accredited programs. i.e. BBA, BSCS, etc. (Conversion should be 50% and above).
  • Equivalency from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) is mandatory for O & A Levels/High School Diploma/IB Diploma or equivalent/In case of foreign boards.
  • High School Diploma or International Bacalaureate (IB) students appearing for examination from Pakistan shall have to pass Islamiat, Pakistan Studies & Urdu.

For Masters/MS/PhD

  • Verification of last degree from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) is mandatory for all Masters, MS, & PhD students.
  • Equivalency of international degrees from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) is mandatory for all Masters, MS, & PhD students.
