BBA

BS (Social Sciences)


Intermediate 50% marks, including first year, with no supplementary.

Bachelor of Media Science


Intermediate (50% marks, including first year no supplementary) or equivalency from IBCC (Incase of foreign boards).
An entrance test and group discussion / interview will be given to all applicants at SZABIST.

MBA


The candidate must:
  1. Have bachelor degree with minimum 55% marks / CGPA 2.50 from an HEC recognized university.
  2. Attend an entrance test and group discussion / interview at SZABIST

MPM


Applicant with a minimum of sixteen 16 years of education / 4 year Bachelors / Masters degree from any HEC recognized educational institution with minimum 55% marks / CGPA 2.50 are eligible for MPM program.
A computer-based on-campus entrance test Or a valid NTS/GAT result of 50% marks.

MS (Project Management)


For admission in MS Program, the candidate must have:
Sixteen years of education from HEC any recognized educational institution with minimum 2nd division 55% marks / CGPA 2.50 and one year work experience in managing projects.
A computer-based on-campus entrance test and interview at SZABIST.
A valid NTS/GAT result of 50% marks.

MS (Management Sciences)


16 years of education in a related field with minimum 55% marks or CGPA 2.5
GAT General with minimum 50% score.
Attend an entrance test and interview at SZABIST.

MS (Computer Science)


Minimum of 55% marks/CGPA 2.50 from any HEC recognized university.
Pass SZABIST entrance test and interview. Test is exempted for those who have cleared GAT general.
GAT (General) with minimum 50% score is mandatory.

MS (Social Sciences)


16 years of education in a related field with minimum 55% marks or CGPA 2.5.
An entrance test and group discussion / interview.
GAT General with minimum 50% score.

MS (Developmental Studies)


16 years of education in a related field with minimum 55% marks or CGPA 2.5.
An entrance test and group discussion / interview.
GAT General with minimum 50% score.

MS/PhD


Candidate must possess a 17.5 - 18 year of education with minimum 60% marks /CGPA 3.00 from an HEC recognized university in the relevant field of study
Pass GAT Subject with minimum 60% score.
Attend an entrance test and group discussion / interview at SZABIST.

MHRM


For admission to the MHRM Program, the applicant must possess minimum of sixteen (16) years of education / 4 years bachelor / Master degree from HEC recognized educational institutes with minimum 55% marks / CGPA 2.50 (with minimum of one year experience at managerial level).

EMBA/PMBA


EMBA: For admission to the EMBA Program, the candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree (with minimum of four year relevant work experience) with minimum 50% marks / CGPA 2.50 from HEC recognized university in any field of study with two letters of recommendation and / or sponsorship letter are required. No transfer courses are allowed into EMBA, and EMBA courses are not transferable to any other program. However, EMBA program is transferable to the regular MBA program at SZABIST. EMBA is a program designed to enhance your professional skills and is fully recognized by the HEC.

PMBA: For admission to the PMBA Program, the candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree (with minimum of four years relevant work experience) with minimum 50% marks / CGPA 2.50 from HEC recognized university in any field of study with two letters of recommendation and / or sponsorship letter are required. PMBA courses are not transferable to any other program. However, PMBA program is transferable to the Executive MBA program at SZABIST. The PMBA is equivalent to Post Graduate Diploma as per HEC guidelines.

Other Requirements


  • Attested copies of all educational documents
  • For A levels: Statement of entry is also needed (those waiting for results)
  • For Intermediate : Roll no Slip is also needed (those waiting for results)
Those waiting for results can also apply but with no supplementary in First year.
An entrance test, interview/ group discussion will be given to all applicants at SZABIST.
Alternatively, applicants may submit acceptable scores of SAT 1 for BBA/BS, GMAT for MBA, GMAT/GRE for MS (Management Sciences), GRE for MS (Computing), GRE for MS (Social Sciences & Economics), and mandatory GRE for Ph.D.

Transfer Policy


Equivalent Foundation Year courses at the MBA/MSCS level are fully transferable into the MBA/MSCS up to a maximum of 50% of credits.
For Transfer candidates from HEC recognized universities, fifth year MBA Program a maximum of up to 6 transfer credits for MBA / MS and 72 transfer credits for BBA/ BS may be considered for courses having letter grade of B (80%) or above. The request must be made at the time of admission, applying for transfer. Maximum time limit to transfer courses is two years. Admission Test / Interview will be given.
For Transfer from SZABIST Certificate Program, all courses having letter grade C (70%) or above for BBA/BS and B (80%) for MS are transferable. Maximum time limit to transfer courses is two years. The request must be made at the time of admission, applying for transfer. Admission Test / Interview will be given.
No transfer courses are allowed into EMBA, and EMBA courses are not transferable into any other program. However, EMBA Program is transferable into the regular MBA program at SZABIST
For Transfer candidates from other SZABIST campuses, the candidate must fulfill the admission requirement of the local Campus the candidate wish to transfer into. All courses/ grades will be transferred. A transfer fee will be applicable if the student transfer during the period of enrolment in the degree and Admission Test/ Interview will be given.
Attested documents, 4 passport size pictures also required for all programs.

Certificate Programs


Certificate Courses

A student may apply for registration to certificate courses for credit / non-credit subject to availability of space. The candidate must not have previously applied for admission into any program at SZABIST or be dismissed from SZABIST.

Credit Courses

For credit courses, all rules and regulations as applicable to a regular registered student at SZABIST shall be applicable to the student. A letter grade will be assigned at the end of the semester. For registration into a credit course, the applicant must have completed the pre-requisite course requirement and interview by Committee. All certificate courses completed with a letter grade of B or above at SZABIST can be transferred into a regular degree program at SZABIST within one year. The regular admission procedure must be followed. The Admission Committee may waive the admission test requirements of exceptional students.

Non-Credit Courses

A candidate with a MS degree from SZABIST may be admitted into the Ph.D degree program with the approval of the Graduate Committee.
A candidate with a MA / MS / MBA / M.Phil (with minimum 5 years of formal university education) from a recognized university may apply for direct admission into the Ph.D program.
A candidate with a minimum 4 years relevant degree from a recognized university may also apply for direct admission into the Ph.D program through the MS route.
For acceptance into the Ph.D program, the applicant must pass the Admission Test/ Interview with the SZABIST Graduate Committee.
After acceptance into the Ph.D program, a Doctoral Committee consisting of the Major Advisor and two Committee Members will be constituted by the Ph.D Program Manager for the student. The Doctoral Committee, including the Major Advisor, can be changed by the Ph.D Program Manager at any time subject to their unavailability and other unforeseen events.

  • Acceptable NTS GAT (General) score is 50%
  • Acceptable GAT (Subject) score is 60%
